”Do not afflict any widow or fatherless child. If you do afflict them at all – if they cry out to Me at all, I shall certainly hear their cry, and My wrath shall burn and I shall slay you with the sword, your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless.” (Exodus 22:22-24) Helping the poor and needy is a real witness of the love of the Father. Praises to the Most High for the work that has been done over the past 10 years with the orphans, widows, lepers and the truly poor in 3rd world countries. It has been so rewarding and fulfilling and life-changing for the team that has been put together from the beginning and those that have been with the Project over the 10 years. We all have so enjoyed our time together, uplifting and encouraging each other, praying and fasting for one another and the projects we all work on. We have tens of thousands of pictures of the word that has been done and am sharing just a few from each country we are working with.
It takes special people to look after orphans, widows, lepers and the truly poor – to live and work with these believers. It is often heartbreaking, but we all have to put a smile on our faces and keep up the work. As shared over the years, we have seen and heard such terrible stories from those that take care of the fatherless, and how many have been found in ghastly conditions. This brother and a number of other brothers in India are so dedicated believers that they see this as important work in their lives and get up early each day to work as hard as possible to do this work for the Most High and His people.
The project has helped this brother to help Lepers for close to 10 years. It is so important that we help those that have no means of helping themselves. It is truly very sad to see situations like this but in saying this it has been a great honor in helping the Lepers as they cannot work and have no means of helping themselves. Praises to the Most High for He knows who is needing His help.
In many cases we purchase wheelchairs and crutches for the lepers and widows who are unable to walk, this gives them wonderful freedom to move around or someone they know can push the wheelchair so they can get out. The living conditions are not that great in the villages, but the brother and his helper try and do the best they can with helping to bring basic needs into the lives of those suffering.
The project has been able to help clothe the widows, orphans and lepers so they love to share their clothing to say a special thank you to those that helped them have material to wrap around them.
We were contacted by groups nearly 10 years ago seeking help, but as you all know, our focus is getting His Word out day in and day out to those without and all donations go to printing and shipping unless specified. But as we got to know and connect with brothers who work with the very poor (and they are known by other supporters of the Project) we just could not stand by and not help. Those we have helped over the years have always sent receipts and photographs to show that the funds were used for the specified purpose, a rule we put into place which encourages good stewardship.
Wheelchairs are so important and really gives a person a new lift and freedom to get around so they are so very thankful and grateful to those that have donated so they can have one of these.
Over the years we have shared images of many orphans, widows, and truly poor programs that were bought to our attention, and we had no options but to help. Ten years ago, we never received donations to help those in need, as all donations went to printing and distributing His Word and other projects that were worked on
Working with orphans, widows, lepers and the truly poor in this way allows you to see growth and progress in amazing, measurable ways which is the hand of the Most High. While there may be setbacks, you will see the joy on each child’s, widow’s, leper’s and truly poor faces as they learn new things from the help they receive. They learn that the Father does answer prayers and that He truly cares for them so much and does wipe away tears.
This one of the projects we did in this area as there is nowhere to go to the toilet or to even wash your body, so we worked with the brother in this area to get this build and set us and it has been a huge barak for believers who come to visit and also for the local believers. Praises to the Most High for allowing them to have this basic need. The India people are willing to work if we give them the means to do so.
You can feel good about making a difference in the lives of children, widows and the truly poor for the Word instructs us to help those less off than ourselves, even in prayer and fasting as that is a wonderful gift as well. Working with the poor is truly an honor and no single day is the same for those who work with those who are in need and serving the Father in this way is considered a great honor. Children and the poor make you a more knowledgeable person and children are, by nature, very curious and love to ask questions about the Father and His Ways and are taught His Truth.
We worked with two believing families for a number of years in India and help them set us a street feeding program that helped the very poor many were homeless and sick. These families would spend long hours buying the food, cooking and preparing the food and wrapping it and most of all praying for each parcel of food and basic needs that they shared. They would then take to the streets in prayer and find those who are in desperate need and share the “GOOD NEWS” with the food. They worked so hard and dedicated. We pray these pictures touch your hearts deeply and thank you for those that donated to help these people who the world has left behind.
We feel that the Father loves those that are poor and needy who do cry out to Him and when they do, He will always find a way to help them. We have seen this multiple times over the years how the Father provides and how He does care.
It really takes a special heart to see the suffering and actually do the work that is needed. There are many needs, but we have to spread out what is donated and we do get a lot for the funds donated.
Working with the poor reminds you of how amazing and exciting the world can be when we come together in love to help those who are in need of help. You’ll love seeing things from their eyes and you can see the joy and gratefulness.
It has been a great honor in serving the Most High in this area, as it is Commanded and asked by the Father, for He cares for those who suffer. Over the years supporters saw the needs in articles and came forward to help in this area so the project has believers that have helped, but the majority of the funds came from the four sisters on the team whose ministry is in helping the poor and needy. This changed last year, as one of the sisters retired from the work due to age and going to live with her family. She is still a big part of this work with her prayer and fasting.
India, Africa, Philippines and Bangladesh are where we do most of our work with orphans, widows and the very poor and needy. It has been a great honor in coming to know so many over the years and to be able to help where possible. We have seen many orphans grow up and go and help others in need by seeking work.
The HalleluYah Scriptures project has helped with sustainable needs, healthy food that is cooked by those who do this work, as we provide stainless steel plates and cups for liquids and also cookers and gas units among a number of other items. We will be sharing these in up-and-coming articles.

The project have purchased a number of stoves and gas bottles to help with cooking food as much is cooked outside on an open fire.
As shared, we have purchased a good number of wheelchairs and crutches to help the poor be more mobile.
We have a full-time doctor for the lepers and poor in India and we have looked after around 177 (sometimes less and sometimes more). The doctor dresses their sores regularly, checks them over and resolves issues with them and others we look after. He issues health supplements, yet sadly now, the prices have doubled as it has all over the world for us all, but the Father provides, and we are working towards self-sufficiencies for the programs we are working with.
The Project helps with basic needs like toothbrushes, oil soap, fruit, rice, beans, materials to make clothes, blankets and bedding and personal health items as well as food. It also provides wheelchairs, crutches, bedding and so much more.
We have always tried to share as many pictures and messages over the years as possible, but it does take a lot of time organizing the pictures and sizing them and writing the articles, so we try and put time aside for these, as we know you all love and enjoy seeing what the Project has achieved.
We have shared over the years the sustainable needs we have put in place and are putting in place as we feel this is so important for long-term help – setting up animals for families to breed from and also enjoy the eggs from chickens and milk from goats or cows, seeds for growing food, etc.
This can be great for them if they have extra food, as they can sell it and also breed the animals to on-sell to keep the animals fed and most of all, keep themselves fed. One of the most exciting things we have worked on is setting up small businesses for believers in poor countries by which means they can provide for themselves and their family and also their extended families. A number of these programs have been put in place and have been successful.
The HalleluYah Scriptures Project has helped many children who were abused and have ended up with believing families and it has been a great honor in being able to help them change their lives. The Project also helps believers who take in children and look after them and this is done with a number of families in Africa.
We have come across some terrible things that have happened to Orphans and the poor that have grieved our hearts deeply, but we have always seen the Father help through you, His people. We want to take the time to say a special thank you from the bottom of our hearts on behalf of those you have helped. As stated many times, the orphans and widows donation support is very little, as most donate to print and send His Word, so a number of years ago, four Sisters on the team started a non-profit for orphans, widows, lepers and the truly poor and needy. This was actually covered in an interview approximately 2 years ago where the Sisters talked about the programs and how they got started with the ministry to help the poor and the large amount of needs that we are exposed to daily. They could not stand by and do nothing. These sisters have been with the project around 10 to 13 years.
Around 3 years ago one of the elderly Sisters who dealt with sending out items in the USA retired and had to move to family due to health issues and age, although she is still a big part of the Project with daily prayer and fasting.
It then fell on 3 Sisters to take on the work in purchasing food, equipment and basic needs and sending payments outside the USA for the poor and needy through western union, as they do all the payments for the needs which has put a lot of stress on them, but they have coped well. So, most of this work is accomplished by these 3 Sisters who are outside the USA.
Things in the world have changed over the last few years which we know you would agree with, so we have to change with the times to do this work which is not always easy.
