“YHWH is my shepherd; i do not lack. He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. He turns back my being; He leads me in paths of righteousness For His Name’s sake. When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.” -Tehillim/Psalms 23:1-4 All praise to the Most High for He has done a wonderful thing through you who have helped this family, orphans and widows the project helps in many countries.
Within hours and days all the costs were covered and more which we will use to add a kitchen for the family and also a kitchen area for the orphans and widows which is urgently needed. Thank you so much once again, you came through fast for the family and the urgent needs. The Father gives us the strength to forgive.
What the enemy meant for evil the Father used it for good and has received so much praise and esteem for He deserves it all. For it is He that does all the work.
The family were overjoyed by all the lovely comments, they touched their hearts deeply and they were so very touched by the overwhelming love and help. THANK YOU. Your willingness to support and contribute to these programs is not only a reflection of your love for YHWH but also a powerful demonstration of the selfless compassion that Mashiaḥ calls us to embody. In a world where so many are marginalized, overlooked, and forgotten, your decision to help brings a radiant light of trust and kindness to those who endure unimaginable hardships. These individuals—our brothers and sisters across the world—are not merely statistics or faceless figures. They are the very people for whom YHWH’s heart beats, and they are the ones to whom He has sent us to be a berakah, a berakah, in their lives.
Daniel’s Mother third on the left next to her husband on the right.
We want to update you all on the work being done for Daniel’s family and the work that is being done on the new home. We sent our Uganda Postal Agent to go and spend a week with this group, to oversee the work being done on Daniel’s family’s home.
Daniel’s dad with tears in his eyes said to Brother Dan,
“I forgive the person that murdered my son” he said this with deep pain and tears. This was incredible as most would not have said these words. He had to go and get his son and carry him back to where they were staying as their home was burnt down. The person/s burnt their home down as a warning to stop believing the Truth they were walking in.
The mother is struggling so much and collapses many times a day, she is heartbroken and in pain. Please pray for her as she has lost her son.
Choosing The Place For The Home & Bricks Being Delivered.
Your support, dear brethren, is not something we take lightly. It is an answered prayer, a marvelous provision sent from above, and it affirms the work we are doing on the frontlines of this spiritual battle. When we receive messages like yours, expressing eagerness to help those who are impoverished, suffering, and destitute, it is as though we hear the very voice of YHWH affirming, “I have heard the cries of My people, and I am sending My provision through My trustful servants.” You are that provision.
Through your generosity, YHWH is allowing us to extend the benefits of His love and kindness to those who do not experience the privileges and freedoms that many of us take for granted each day. It is a humbling reality that while we enjoy the birekoth of food, shelter, freedom, and access to the HalleluYah Scriptures, there are countless individuals—orphans who have no family to care for them, widows who mourn in loneliness, prisoners trapped in physical and spiritual bondage, and the poor who struggle just to survive—who are denied even the most basic necessities.
Yet, in the midst of their despair, YHWH has not forgotten them. He sees their suffering, and in His infinite wisdom, He has chosen to send His people—you and us—as vessels of His love, favor, and provision to bring healing to their lives. All helping with Daniel’s family, to help them through their sadness and also with the building of the new home.
HalleluYah the widows praying while others are working. Wonderful prayer warriors for the Father.
In moments of profound loss and devastation, Today, we pause to extend our sincerest and most heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to aiding this family in the process of rebuilding their home and restoring their lives. The weight of their loss is immeasurable, and though nothing can ever fill the void left by the passing of their beloved son, Daniel, your generous support has provided them with a sense of comfort and solidarity during these trying times.
The Widows Come Together In Prayer & Song While The Workers Work
Rebuilding a home and restoring livelihoods after such profound loss is no small task. The destruction of not only a physical dwelling but also the cherished memories and hard-earned crops has been a heavy burden.
Your contributions have been instrumental in helping them recover from the destruction of their property and the irreplaceable belongings within their home. While the emotional scars may take time to heal, the tangible assistance you have provided is a covenant to the boundless capacity of human kindness. Every donation, no matter the size, has played a pivotal role in alleviating burdens, reminding them that they are not alone in their journey toward healing.
Your willingness to give, whether through financial contributions, words of encouragement, or simply by spreading the word, has brought unity and a renewed sense of trust to this grieving family. The act of giving transcends monetary value—it is a profound gesture of empathy and compassion. By coming together in this time of need, you have shown that the ties that bind us as human beings are stronger than any hardship. Your kindness has not only provided immediate relief but has also laid the foundation for this family to begin rebuilding their lives with dignity and strength.
Imagine the faces of those who just have not means of helping themselves, those who have never known the warmth of a parent’s love, or the tears of widows who have lost not only their spouses but their sense of security and trust. Picture the hearts of prisoners—both those behind physical bars and those trapped in spiritual darkness—who long for a word of redemption, for a message of trust that they have not been abandoned.
Consider the poor, who wake up each day unsure if they will have enough food to sustain them through the night. These are the people you are reaching. Through your willingness to support our programs, you are helping to bring the light of YHWH’s love into their lives, to break the chains of despair, and to offer them the trust that comes only through YHWH’s provision and the saving message of His Word
Daniel’s Parents being prayed for just days after the passing of their son. The mother is in so much pain and still struggles.
Though we cannot undo the heartbreak of their loss, your efforts have illuminated a path forward, one where love and unity triumph over despair. For that, we offer our deepest and most heartfelt thanks. Your generosity has been a source of strength and a covenant to the incredible spirit of community that uplifts us all in times of need.
Daniel’s parents being prayed for below. Kindly keep them in your prayers as they come to terms their son has been taken in the most horrible way possible. We know some of you are parent and will know what they are going through. Let us pray for them. Also, one of the widows’ photos below is a great help to the work being done.
We are happy to report that the new home is coming along beautifully. All the necessary materials have been purchased, thanks to your incredible generosity. Every brick, beam, and nail stands as a testimony to the compassion and kindness of those who answered the Father’s call to give. The construction team, alongside the widows, orphans, and community members, is working tirelessly to ensure that the family will soon have a safe and secure place to call home.
“He looks down on the shamayim and in the earth; He raises the poor out of the dust, Lifts the needy from a dunghill, To make him sit with the nobles, With the nobles of His people, Causing the barren to dwell in a house, A rejoicing mother of children. Hallelu-Yah!” Tehillim/Psalms 113-6-9
They are battling the weathers each day, it is raining most days, and they need the rain to stop for the work they are doing. See updated photos below of the building.
However, as with any undertaking, there are challenges. The region has been experiencing heavy rains, which has slowed progress and made it difficult for the bricks to harden. We humbly ask for your continued prayers, specifically for clearer skies and sunlight, which are essential for the construction to move forward smoothly.
“Did you not know? Have you not heard? The everlasting Elohim, YHWH, the Creator of the ends of the earth, neither faints nor is weary. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to those who have no might He increases strength.” -Yeshayahu/isaiah 40:28-29
Through it all, Daniel’s family has shown incredible strength and courage. With the loving care of the widows, they are navigating this difficult time with love and determination. The widows have taken it upon themselves to ensure that the family’s immediate needs are met, providing comfort, guidance, and a sense of stability. This communal care is a beautiful example of how shared responsibility and love can uplift and sustain those in the midst of hardship.
Work progressing well.
None of this would be possible without the generosity of our donors and supporters. We want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to each of you who have contributed, whether financially, through prayer, or by spreading the word. Your kindness has been a beacon of trust, illuminating the path forward for this family and their community.
The house is coming along now and we pray that the family will have a place of their own and a place to lay their heads in peace.
Our postal agent in Uganda has also joined this mission of compassion, dedicating a full week to providing hands-on support wherever it is most needed. Their presence has been invaluable, offering guidance, encouragement, and practical assistance in the ongoing construction. From coordinating resources to lifting ruachoth, their contribution exemplifies the kind of servant-hearted leadership that makes a real difference in times of need.
“Barak YHWH, O my being, And all that is within me, His qodesh Name! Barak YHWH, O my being, And do not forget all His dealings, Who forgives all your wickednesses, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your hai from destruction, Who crowns you with kindness and compassion, Who satisfies your desire with the good, Your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” -Tehillim/Psalms 103:1-5
Let us continue to hold this family in our thoughts and extend our support in whatever ways we can, knowing that together, we can help them find the resilience and hope needed to navigate the difficult road ahead. We firmly believe that the Father, in His infinite wisdom and love, will pour out His birekoth upon each of you. May He shower you with favor, guide you in your own journeys, and multiply the kindness you have shown tenfold. Together, we are making a difference, one brick, one prayer, and one act of kindness at a time.
The joy and excitement of the visit from our postal agent and with the work being done for Daniel’s family and the love shown by you all through the project has really touched the hearts of the young and old, they were so pleased to see Brother Dan come to see them and encourage them and also share with them. Things are not easy in Uganda and many are attacked and killed for walking in Truth.
For over a decade, this Project has been a beacon of trust and unity for these marginalized communities, extending a helping hand in their moments of greatest need. Through a myriad of initiatives and interventions, ranging from material aid to emotional support, we have endeavored to alleviate their suffering and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment. Our interactions with these believers have transcended mere acts of charity, evolving into enduring relationships built on trust, respect, and shared humanity.
As we reflect on the journey traversed over the past thirteen years, we are filled with a profound sense of thankfulness for the privilege of walking alongside these resilient souls. Their resilience, courage, and unwavering loyalty serve as a constant source of inspiration, reaffirming our commitment to continue advocating for their rights and dignity. Moving forward, we remain steadfast in our resolve to uphold the values of compassion, justice, and unity, as we continue our journey towards a more inclusive and equitable society, where no one is left behind. Again only possible because of you the HalleuYah Scriptures supporters.
Give right-ruling to the poor and fatherless, Do right to the afflicted and needy. Psalms/ Tehillim – 82:3
The House is growing fast, and the workers are doing all they can for the family, praying over them, comforting them and encouraging them each day. Please keep them in your daily prayers for they need it.
Since the inception of our endeavor in 2010, we have been deeply entrenched in the arduous yet profoundly rewarding task of supporting and uplifting some of society’s most marginalized groups: orphans, widows, lepers, and the truly impoverished. Our journey began not out of a sense of obligation, but rather out of an acute awareness of the dire circumstances faced by these vulnerable populations. Faced with the stark reality of their suffering, we found ourselves compelled to act, unable to turn a blind eye to their plight, we were faced with this situations and could not turn our heads away.
Over the years, our commitment to these communities has only deepened as we have worked tirelessly alongside them, striving to provide not just temporary relief, but sustainable solutions that empower them to reclaim agency over their lives. From the outset, our focus has been on fostering self-sufficiency and resilience, recognizing that true transformation comes not from handouts, but from the cultivation of skills, resources, and opportunities.
To this end, we have implemented a plethora of self-sufficiency programs aimed at equipping the beneficiaries with the tools they need to not only survive but thrive in the long term. These programs encompass a wide range of initiatives, from vocational training and skills development to micro-enterprise projects and agricultural endeavors. Through these efforts, we seek to break the cycle of dependency and foster a sense of self-reliance and dignity among those we serve. This has been possible because of you.
Despite these challenges, we remain steadfast in our commitment to these communities, refusing to be deterred by the enormity of the task before us. While the road ahead may be fraught with obstacles, we draw strength from the resilience and determination of those we serve, who inspire us with their unwavering ruah and courage in the face of adversity. We are a small team that try and do the best we can each day for the Father and His people. We want no thanks or praise as that all belongs to the Most High.
“Learn to do good! Seek Right-Ruling, reprove the oppressor, defend the fatherless, plead for the widow. Isaiah/ Yeshayahu – 1:17
Brother Dan was welcomed by the team, widows and orphans, they were so excited to see him again. HalleluYah
A MESSAGE FROM BROTHER DAN
Greetings from all us here.
I thank the Father that I arrived safely and I was welcomed well by the brothers and the sisters here.
We had our first meeting with the Widows and I encouraged them to trust in the Father as He is the only one that will never forsake them like how people do, I also encouraged them to get involved in serving the Father, they look healthy and in good condition of course I’m closely observing how they are living throughout this visit.
We then went to see how the house construction work for Daniel’s family was going, the work is going on well, we helped to extend the bricks to the place where they are supposed to be so that it can help the masons while building, the house.
It is a 3 bedroom house as we agreed and we are still supervising it’s construction. Daniel’s family are very thankful and appreciated everything. I encouraged them and shared with them the message that the team gave me to share with them.
I have attached some pictures right from the start of my journey, when I’m arriving here, and the fellowship we had with the Widows and the house construction work as well.
I will be updating you more each day with other photos and information.
Rain is too much here as well, somehow it makes the work hard but we are moving on by YAH’S hand.
Sending love.
Dan.
“Respect widows who are truly widows. But if any widow has children or grandchildren, let them first learn to treat their own house reverently, and to repay their parents. For this is good and acceptable before Elohim.” 1 Timothy/ Timotiyos 1 – 5:3-4
Second Letter
Pray and hope you are well.
Here is some information that I have keenly and carefully gathered. i hope it helps.
Widows
I have seen and with a lot of carefulness I have counted 44 widows which you shared with me over time, all these widows sleep under mosquito nets which is great and the project through your supporters cover the costs, however they sleep on papyrus mats, these papyrus mats are not good especially at their age as they don’t give them good sleep, they are a little bit hard not providing any softness while sleeping.
Each of these widows have a blanket, the blankets look good, and the widows said they provide enough warmth for them while sleeping. Thank you again for the supporters supplying the blankets, clothing, health checks and of course the food.
They live in three big rooms that have enough space for all of them to have space for sleeping. I have observed that the rooms are safe, having good doors and windows with enough airflow. These buildings were covered by HalleluYah Scriptures supporters.
However I have observed something about these rooms, it is like they don’t have enough light at night and this is very dangerous for these dear widows. Light is very important for them as you never know what might happen at night probably some of them wake up at night to go to a toilet or to pray therefore for their safety i request for some light to be provided in their rooms. We are working on getting them lights and soloar panels.
I saw they have some sandals though they are not in good situation it is like they have overworked as they wear them every day. We are also addressing this as we did get them shoes early in the year but they are walking for hours on the shoes so will be looking to get more shoes.
These widows look healthy depending on their age though a few of them are somehow weak, which is a common thing in Africa as when someone turns 70 years their bodies develop a lot of health complications this is true to my own mother, she is 77 years old. The widows shared that a Doctor always checks on them weekly to see how they are doing. This is covered by the project’s supporters.
They have good and fair clothes to put on however it seems like they are not enough for each of them as they need to change them daily if possible. We are addressing this and sorting out more clothing for them.
Furthermore about their health, I saw them eating greens, these greens compliment a lot to their health as they provide some healthy benefits to their bodies. All the greens and fresh veggies are from the work they do on the gardens which were and are supported by the HalleluYah Scriptures supporters.
I have seen that they always have their breakfast, lunch and supper in time as Brother Philips and his team work hard to make sure that they eat in time.
I have seen plenty of greens and vegetables around in their food store including Avocados, bananas, pineapple and eggs from the chickens the project supports supplied.
“He executes right-ruling for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and a garment. Deuteronomy/ Debarim – 10:18
Gardens
I visited their gardens and saw a lot of work that is being done by brother Philips and his helpers, they are very hard workers and have produced a lot of crops for the orphans and widows. I have seen several gardens of cassava that is about to be harvested all looking good as it is almost raining here every day.
This cassava provides some food for them as well besides cassava they have a garden of pineapple, mangoes, Jack fruits, bananas and some eucalyptus trees.
The bananas, mangoes, Jack fruits help a lot to boost the immunity of the Widows and orphans.
I have seen big gardens of beans, the beans look good because of rain that the Father has provided here, these beans should be ready for harvest probably in December.
I saw the two large fishponds with fish inside and they are doing very well, all the children help in feeding fish daily as I saw them doing it. I have seen the store, it looks good with good security and good ventilation plus good airflow in the store I saw several food items including rice, cassava floor, beans, Avocados, fruits, posho, greens and some grasshoppers.
I have attached different photos showing the gardens, the Ponds, the store, the widows and their houses and the wonderful orphans who I had a lot of fun with, they are filled with joy and laughter.
I will be sharing more information and photos daily according to what i will be observing.
Keep me in your prayers
Shalom .
I pray and hope you are well.
Here is another information that I have collected about the orphans.
Orphans
I have had a wonderful time with the orphans, they were so welcoming as were the orphans the Brother Phillips team.
I saw 32 orphans all looking good and healthy. I have been working with Brother Philips and his helpers working hard to make sure that these orphans get breakfast in time, get lunch in time and supper, they have enough food, Brother Philips and his team members have grown lots of cassava and it will be helpful in feeding both the orphans and widows with their greens. Brother Phillips wife and another Sister look after the Orphans at night and attend to any that need help. They have a deep love for the orphans and widows, and I saw this clearly.
Some of the orphans shared their hearts with me, they said they were well looked after, feed well and if they were ill there was a Doctor that came to check them over and offer natural medicines.
They have some plastic shoes that they put on however they are old as they put them on them daily, so getting new ones would be very helpful for their health and safety as they might get hurt by the rough ground and stones around. Like all children they wear their shoes out.
Their sleeping condition is fair as they have mosquito nets, blankets but lacking Mattresses as they sleep on papyrus mats, these papyrus mats don’t offer comfortable sleeping, I feel we need to come up with a better idea, Brother Phillips suggested we put cement down on the widows and orphans’ floors. I saw two big rooms where they sleep, girls sleep in a separate room and boys sleep in a separate room as well, the rooms have doors and windows and have enough space.
They have some clothes, but they are not enough for them so if they could get some new clothes then that would be very helpful. We are working on this now as the grow out of the clothes and they get a hard time.
However, they also need some lights in their rooms, if we could get some solar lights installed that could be very helpful. We will be addressing this.
These orphans have classes for Torah and they memorised Bible verses, and they can meditate on them and I witnessed they love to learn, and Brother Phillips puts a lot of time into teaching them. A room would be great for them to be taught in at some time.
Besides Torah, study how to count, reading and writing They also get some time to play as well. They love to sing and they laugh a lot as well.
However, I saw a need of some books, pens, pencils and colors for the orphans. We will be sorting this out soon for them.
I observed when they were serving them lunch that they don’t have enough plates and cups it seems like they children breaks them. We are now looking at getting stainless steel plates and cups which will last longer.
They have some saucepans that help to prepare food, however they are not enough, if we could add them two or three big saucepans that will be very helpful.
The two water tanks provide enough water for both widows and orphans, for cooking, washing, bathing etc.
The toilet are okay and in good condition and enough for all of them.
I have been seeing very many plastic chairs around with all widows and orphans using them comfortably, the projects supporters covered the costs of these.
Besides plastic chairs I see many plastic tables around these plastic tables helps the orphans and widows are eating.
Again, the supporters covered the costs of these, so thank you. About the plaque for Daniels grave, we are identifying someone that will do it as it is hard to get a professional designer here in their village, but we are looking for one somewhere else, we know this is important to the supporters. Thank you and sharing more soon.
The house construction work is moving on though at a slow pace as rain is almost raining every day here this has greatly affected the progress of house construction, but the team keep doing all they can do get the house completed for the family. The outpouring of love from the HalleluYah Scriptures supporters has been amazing and welcomed.
We don’t want to keep on building when it is raining as the walls needs to get stronger first then build other steps otherwise if we force the construction when it is raining then the walls might collapse, and we lose the materials.
Please keep me in your prayers as well,
Shalom.
Dan
Here is some more information for today, Monday, I got involved in serving children’s lunch, the meals are good for them and each of the children gets enough food for lunch. I also supervised the house construction I’m glad today we didn’t have rain in the morning, so we had some good weather, and we had some good progress, the widows presented some songs of worship to the Father, they danced for the Father and I encouraged them in the word.
I prayed for them, they also prayed for me and for my sick mother Esther, they look healthy and looking smart and very thankful to the Father for their lives. I took some photos with the late Daniel’s family which you can share. Daniel’s family were very touched by the love from the HalleluYah Scriptures supporters. They could not believe that others would stand with them through the pain and suffering they are going through, they do not feel alone anymore.
I also took some photos of the 5 helpers that help run daily work of the project with brother Philips. See the article with the pictures above.
We are praying and believing the Father for this work to go on as it is a blessing in this community, Brother Philips is doing a good work, and they have treated me well.
I’m very thankful for the opportunity that you gave me to visit and supervise and see what is going on here. I hope that when the house is completed probably in December I can come back again and dedicate the house to the Father and install the plaques on the house and for the widows and orphans houses as well then send lots of pictures and information to you.
My week here with this wonderful group has been very special and I hold it in my heart dearly.
I’m praying for you all and wishing you all the best.
With lots of love
Dan.
Praise YHWH! HalleluYah! All honor and praise to Him who reigns forever! It is because of His boundless love, kindness, and favor that we have this incredible opportunity to be part of His work. Each moment, each step forward in sharing His Word is a covenant to His truthfulness and unending love for His people. We are so honor to do this work with you. THANK YOU so much from the bottom of our hearts.
We got to talk to Brother Philips while Brother Dan was there, there was not enough words he said to say how grateful and thankful they are for the support towards Daniel’s family and the widows and orphans, he could not say thank you enough and we said give all the thanks and praise to the Father as He deserves it all and it is He that has done all the work through the supporters. He said the widows pray daily for all the HalleluYah Scriptures supporters and you all have changed their lives and given them hope where there was none. May the Father always who you favor.
May all creation sing His praises, and may our lives reflect His goodness. HalleluYah—Praise YHWH for His kindness and for guiding this mission with His mighty hand. Every Scripture delivered, every heart touched, and every life transformed is all for His praise. Baruk be His Name forever and ever!
